After half a year of surveillance, the Interstellar Inspection Bureau finally seized a shipment of contraband and took down the illegal human-modification research institute in one fell swoop.

The Marshal thought the case was closed, but the very next day, he received the confiscated contraband: an Omega mermaid with breathtaking beauty.

The head of the Marriage Matching Bureau called him personally. "The poor little thing's had a rough time. Those scumbags took advantage of his amnesia to brainwash him with all sorts of nonsense. He was clearly in a bad way when we rescued him..."

1. Marriage first, love later, with some ups and downs. The gong dotes on the shou. The little mermaid flirts without realizing it, and after being tormented by the research institute, he can't bear to have anyone touch his tail. He also has trouble understanding himself, leaving the Marshal sweating bullets as he endures his heat and coaxes him, patiently teaching him how to relax...

[Important Note]

The shou's psychological issues will take time to heal. At first, when triggered, he'll seem rather submissive, but by around chapter 30, the gong will have doted on him until he's doing much better. (His aversion to having his tail touched will still take a while to overcome.)

In this part of the story, the shou will be frightened and insecure because of his trauma, and will desperately want the gong by his side. Although the gong sends people to rescue him right away, he himself doesn't arrive on the scene immediately! The comfort scenes may also seem a little slow because of how the author split up the chapters!

If you can't stand seeing the shou get hurt in the slightest, please look elsewhere! Thank you!

2. Not a standard ABO setting. The worldbuilding is entirely made up for the sake of the plot, so don't take it too seriously.

3. There are two side couples! Both get happy endings, and neither takes attention away from the main characters. They feature in a few chapters and then are mostly gone.
