Flute Music Beneath the Moon (Meteor Butterfly Sword)

I love Shi Qun! Dressed in white, cold as ice. Elegant, ruthless, an elf of the mist (I love that phrase!). Of Ye Xiang, Shi Qun, Meng Xinghun, and Xiao He, I think Shi Qun was without a doubt the most loyal to Boss Gao. When Boss Gao killed herself, Ye Xiang was dead, Xiao He was crippled, and Xiao Meng had gone off to the seaside with Sun Die to enjoy himself (what a heartless guy). Only Shi Qun came back. He was such a cold person, but he wept for Boss Gao.

They're all Gu Long's creations, which I'm shamelessly claiming as my own. Pairing: Boss Gao and her four adopted sons (adopted sons? Disciples? What am I even saying?). “Flute Music Beneath the Moon” is Shi Qun's story, just as “Meteor, Butterfly, Sword” is Meng Xinghun's.

Shi Qun's entrance:

In the dense woods ahead, the milky-white morning mist was drifting apart like wisps of smoke.

The flute's mournful melody was haunting and deeply moving, like the plaintive song of a wronged woman, full of endless sorrow and loneliness.

Then he saw someone slowly emerge from the woods, out of the mist.

A tall, young man dressed all in white.

But his flute was pitch-black, gleaming in the light.

The mist parted like wisps of smoke around his feet. He stood in the fog, and his heart seemed to be shrouded in it too.

He seemed like an elf of the mist himself.

Shi Qun returns (after Boss Gao's suicide):

Shi Qun knelt down beside her, scooping up a large handful of her hair.

His tears fell onto her hair!

Suddenly, her hair gleamed again, shining with crystal-clear tears.
