[Bungo Stray Dogs] Striving to Live After Oda Sakunosuke Left

"I want to marry Qinghe."

The usually taciturn man lowered his head and solemnly slipped a delicate ring onto her finger.

She said yes, her face flushed like the sunset.

Their happiness eventually became so sickeningly sweet that even Dazai Osamu couldn't stand it.

But a month later, Asakusa Qinghe received the news of her husband's death.

Having lost her "home" and her "family," she was left with nothing. By chance, she met her husband's friend, Dazai Osamu.

"He asked me to take you to the people who save others."

Because of those words, Asakusa Qinghe, who had been lingering beneath the streetlights, joined the Armed Detective Agency.

She worked on assignments day and night, paying no attention to her health, as though she wanted to fall into an eternal sleep as soon as her work was done.

Then, after she happened to collapse during an assignment, she was taken to the hospital. The doctor told her there was a new life growing inside her.

"This is the child Sakunosuke entrusted to me."

After that, Asakusa Qinghe found a reason to keep living after the death of the person she loved.

"Raise the child and work hard."

That was the plan Asakusa Qinghe wrote for her future at the age of twenty-one.

She still thought so when she was swept into another world by a temporal rift while taking her child home.

"Just hang on a little longer. Mommy will take Aoi home soon."

After comforting her son, who had just gotten out of kindergarten, Asakusa Qinghe began exploring this other world.

Strangely enough, at the Armed Detective Agency in this other world, she ran into her husband, who was just about to head home and buy some curry.
