Your mission is to help the superheroes fulfill their wishes and make sure they survive.
But the conditions for using your life-saving skill are as follows:
[Choose a condition:
1. Beat Batman until he's seriously injured
2. Throw Iron Man, without his armor, off the fortieth floor
3. Punch through Superman's lung
4. Break at least three of Captain America's ribs
5. Beat up Spider-Man
6. Beat Thor unconscious
7. ...]
The worse the superheroes get beaten, the stronger he becomes. He has a mission list for saving superheroes, but every single skill condition seems to push him toward becoming a villain.
So before saving the superheroes each time, he has to beat them until they're on the verge of death. Then, while the superheroes look at him with suspicion and the villains look at him with admiration, he has to beat up the villain too.
Before he maxes out the superheroes' affection and tells them the conditions for using his superpower, they all think of him as a coward who only looks out for himself, changes sides at the drop of a hat, might defect to the other side and stab you at any moment, and absolutely cannot be trusted.
After he maxes out their affection and tells them the conditions for using his superpower:
Just as the superheroes are about to be wiped out, he calls out helpfully:
"Need a hand? It looks like you can't..."
The superheroes he's given special treatment: "We can handle it!!!"
