Gentle and Flawless

Socially anxious little airhead (Xu Sui) x cool, down-to-earth guy (Liang Cong)

When humiliating rumors reached the school, Xu Guangtong was forced to pack up and move with Xu Sui in the middle of the night.

This time, they moved from the north to a small town somewhere in the south.

There, Xu Sui met Liang Cong.

When they first met, Liang Cong stood in the doorway and coldly turned Xu Guangtong down. "The rental listing is very clear. I don't rent to people with dogs or kids."

After saying that, he glanced at Xu Sui. She was afraid of strangers, and even more afraid of the fierce-looking man in front of her. Before she could even get a good look at Liang Cong, she hid behind Xu Guangtong.

That night, Xu Sui and her dad nearly had to sleep on the street.

Later, Xu Sui took the college entrance exam and became the top scorer in the province. Liang Cong was so happy that he drank quite a bit.

Xu Sui edged closer, hoping to steal a kiss under cover of night.

Liang Cong suddenly opened his eyes and looked at her, as if he knew everything.

His gaze was deep. Drawn in, Xu Sui couldn't help asking, "Liang Cong, what am I to you?"

His warm palm came to rest on her head. Liang Cong said gently, "A puppy. You're my puppy."

Xu Sui rubbed her head against Liang Cong's palm, secretly thinking boldly: I'm not your puppy. I want to be your woman.

--Since you won't let me tell you I like you, I'll just tell the evening breeze: seventeen-year-old Xu Sui fell in love with summer.
