(Mainly Bungo Stray Dogs) Even the Ghosts Have No Idea What Happened

A note before reading: I'm urgently filling in the gaps in this old work, and the ending may feel a little rushed. Fujiwara Soraki is the only human-ghost hybrid in the world. After finishing a trip around the world, he decided to fall asleep to pass the time. However... Can someone tell him why the world changed so much while he was asleep?! Why is the biggest transport company in the port a mafia? Why can some people leave a hole in the ground with every step they take? Why do some people have a built-in ability to attract trouble, with cases breaking out wherever they go? Now, please join me as we explore the modern life of a ghost from another era. From the Port Mafia's perspective Recently, the Port Mafia found a child of about seven or eight years old, dressed in a Japanese-style formal outfit, at an abandoned shrine. As soon as they brought the child back, the boss took him in as his adopted son and created a special position for him as an outside consultant. He kept the child by his side and raised him, doting on him greatly. Only the boss knew why he felt such an inexplicable fondness for someone whose origins were unknown. Third-person narration. The boss in the blurb is the previous boss. At that time, Dr. Mori really was just a doctor. This is now gen, with no pairing. Warnings: Please don't give unsolicited writing advice. My writing is at an elementary-school level. If you don't like it, you can leave without telling me. There are author-invented details. I'm writing this for love, not for arguments. Friendly discussion is welcome. Theme: A ghost and a gloomy little menace.
