The doctor's mouth curves into a smile beneath his mask. "Try to avoid sex while you're being treated."

Mei Yue blushes. "Um, I'm not dating anyone."

The doctor's writing hand pauses. "Not dating doesn't mean you're not having sex."

The doctor takes off his mask in front of the receiver.

Mei Yue recognizes him!!!

2. Childhood betrothal

Mei Yue: "I'm betrothed to your sister, right?"

Mu Zhiqi: "So you slept with me, and now you want to sleep with my sister too?"

Mei Yue spits out a mouthful of water. "No, no! Fine, I agree."

3. Getting the marriage certificate

Mei Yue holds the marriage certificate, a little dazed. They're married just like that?

He goes to a bar to drink with a bunch of people and celebrate his last night as a bachelor.

Then he sees Mu Zhiqi.

Mu Zhiqi: "I didn't know my husband would go to a bar and get drunk on the first day of our marriage."

Mei Yue: "It's a misunderstanding, just a bachelor party."

Mu Zhiqi raises an eyebrow. "Bachelor?"

Mei Yue stammers nervously. "N-no, celebrating the end of bachelorhood."

Mu Zhiqi: "I guess I didn't work hard enough last night, or my husband wouldn't have the energy to go out drinking."

Mei Yue rubs his sore back, shaken.
