This story started as a spur-of-the-moment idea. Halfway through writing, I felt the pacing was a little off and kept revising it. Fortunately, I've already finished the outline, so I won't abandon it. I love the characters and want to do them justice, so I reread the earlier chapters several times to get back into the right frame of mind. I'll post it once I'm satisfied with the revisions. Sorry to everyone who's been waiting, and thank you for your patience!
At first, when Xu Yaoxing took an interest in him, Gu Yan refused:
"Sorry, I don't sell myself."
Later...
Xu Yaoxing: "Let's end this."
Gu Yan: "If it'll make you happier, I have no objection. But the money I owe you..."
Xu Yaoxing waved a hand. "Consider it a gift."
Gu Yan: "That won't do. How about 11,000 a night? I'll leave once I've paid off the debt."
Xu Yaoxing: "Hah. So eager to debase yourself."
After several nights, Mr. Xu curled up in the corner of the bed, wrapped in his little blanket.
"I don't want the money anymore. Get out. Now!"
Gu Yan pulled off his tie and undid his buttons, then pounced on him. "Baby, we haven't worked out the interest yet."
A dense, clueless, steel-straight alpha gong whose colors don't run true x an older omega shou who only wants a fling, not love
This uses an ABO setting, so there are quite a few side couples. It uses the basic ABO setup but includes lots of original worldbuilding. It won't affect your reading, so don't worry. More than half the story is drafted, and I'm working hard to build up a backlog. Please bookmark and leave comments o(* ̄︶ ̄*)o
Because I need to revise this story and build up a draft for a new one, updates will be every other day from now on.
-, Upcoming stories
I have several stories with fairly substantial drafts that I'm writing in rotation because I have a lot of ideas. So I'd like to ask everyone which one you'd prefer to read first.
"[Apocalypse] The Eighth Year of Not Loving You"
"Do you still love him?"
"I don't anymore."
"I haven't even said who I mean!"
"..."
A muscular, great-at-housework, excellent cook, teary-eyed, almost-yandere (cross that out) devoted-dog gong x a sweet, soft, (not really) food-loving beauty shou who seduces people
In the eighth year of the Apocalypse, Bian Zheng had long since grown accustomed to a simple life in the mountains, rising with the sun and resting at sunset. He thought he would grow old and die in his little cabin all alone. Then one day, Bian Zheng saw that person at a country market...
A post-disaster farming and food story, gong POV.
"Turns Out He Has a White Moonlight"
After seven years together, Qing He had devoted himself to taking care of Yu Zhan, looking after his daily needs and helping him raise his son from a previous marriage. But they never married, and Yu Zhan never marked him.
Later, Qing He finally realized that he was only a substitute for someone else.
A devoted, chaste alpha gong x an ordinary, homebody omega shou.
Strong gong, weak shou. The gong is a scumbag, but the shou isn't pathetic.
Maximum angst, the classic white-moonlight-substitute trope, and a groveling redemption arc.
"There's a Ghost in My Left Eye". A danmei supernatural anthology
Some people are born with a malicious ghost living in their left eye.
Those born carrying a ghost must feed it to keep it alive, and use good deeds to redeem it, dispelling its ghostly energy and cultivating their own body.
Once they've succeeded, they transcend the Five Elements, attain the Dao, and ascend to immortality.
Li Xin is one such person.
"Amnesia"
When Rong Zhu woke up, he couldn't remember a thing. The steward told him he was the master's male concubine, and that someone had tried to kill him because the master favored him. He'd been lucky to survive. That was the good news.
As for the bad news, the master was returning from a visit to friends. He'd written to say he missed Rong Zhu.
The one he missed, of course, was the Rong Zhu who hadn't lost his memory.
The old Rong Zhu had been quite something: the top courtesan at the male brothel.
An intense groveling redemption arc. Shou POV. The gong appears rather late and is an extremely terrible person. The shou isn't pathetic. Childbirth.
