Synopsis:
Qiu Shina lives in darkness. Her childhood may once have held a brief stretch of happiness, but everything changed after her mother divorced her father and took her away. Whenever her mother gets drunk, she points at Qiu Shina's eyes and screams that she wants to gouge them out, simply because they look so much like her father's. At school, her long bangs cover most of her face, and her distant personality makes her an outcast. She thinks she'll never see the light in her life, until one day she gets caught after a failed attempt and is badly beaten. She passes out by the side of the road. When she wakes, she sees a boy gently wiping her face. He is the one who rescues her from the dark mire, becoming the brightest light in Qiu Shina's life. She follows that light to Suzuran.
Please note: 1. Shina is not a typical good person. 2. Shina is cocky, the kind who thinks she rules the world. She shows no respect to anyone except Shiki. 3. She will take part in the fight to reach the top of Suzuran, though... she won't win. 4. Shina is absolutely devoted to Shiki. 5. She gets beaten up early on, but she'll grow stronger. She's tough and can take a beating.
