Above the Clouds

The God of Cloud Peak, ruler of the Imperial Capital, was invincible in the Heavenly Zephyr Divine Realm.

But after being targeted by a group of enemies, he vanished without a trace. No one could find him, and everyone thought the Divine Emperor had been reduced to dust. A struggle for power and succession erupted across the divine realm, plunging it into chaos...

The Divine Emperor, who had supposedly been "reduced to dust": "???" Thank you so much, everyone. I just went on vacation, so how did I end up dead? No wonder you all never studied properly and can't tell one grand formation from another!!

But I was coming back anyway, so I suppose it makes no difference...

Before reaching his destination, the God of Cloud Peak thought things over carefully. This time, he would reclaim everything, and protect the person he loved.

But plans never keep pace with change... Lin Huanyu, who had learned the truth of his origins and regained his peak, max-level power: "I'm so powerful. I'm afraid I'll destroy something by accident..."

After the joy of reuniting with the person he had longed for, Jiang Moyuan, he discovered that both he and Jiang Moyuan had many mysteries surrounding their origins in the human world. As their family backgrounds and pasts gradually came to light, they found that the main planet, Earth, in the spirit-energy-starved Silver River Star Region had a subtle connection to the Immortal Realm...

Confused, he and his beloved pressed on together, solving the mystery of their origins and uncovering forgotten memories... with a little fighting and public displays of affection along the way...

To put it simply, this is the story of the God of Cloud Peak returning at max level, abandoning a pile of messes in the divine realm, and running off with his own gentle, considerate, handsome boyfriend to roam the world, slap down enemies, punish scum, and exorcise demons... and go on dates. (Seriously.)

A little guide:

1. This is a wildly imaginative story, so feel free to guess. Brother Yuan's real background... is very complicated.

2. It might be a little wish-fulfillment-y or off-putting... (I'm not sure.) Huanyu really is very powerful... If that's not your thing, little cuties and angels, feel free to close the page.

3. Please comment and bookmark! Suggestions are welcome!

4. The protagonist is the bottom! Huanyu is the bottom, and Brother Yuan is the top. Don't get them mixed up!
