I.
“Chiharu” is my name.
My mother told me that countless times, she had dreamed of exchanging vows with the person she loved in a church and promising herself to him for life. That wish came true on a sunny spring day, when she married my father.
And so, the happiness and beauty of that day became “Chiharu.”
I think everyone in this world must be born of love.
This is where it all begins, with love and hope.
II.
Nothing in this world remains unchanged forever. Or perhaps some things simply don't exist at all.
“People weep when they lose what matters to them.”
But should I shed tears over it?
Should I cry over my weakness, or grieve for my own helplessness...
“I'm sorry. I can't forgive you, and I can't forgive the person I was, either.”
“When I finally realized it, he had already disappeared before my eyes.”
In the end, it is a long and winding story.
III.
What I love is the transparent, golden-orange sunlight, so clean and warm.
I firmly believe that love is the greatest thing in the world. It alone can erase hatred and overcome anything.
“I'm happy that we are who we are.”
The end of one story is the beginning of another.
The long winter hides the light of spring
The seeds buried in the heart
Will they break through the soil
And grow toward the light
Or sink deep into the earth
And disappear into the dark?
In the end, spring arrives
The answer lies in that beam of light
A few warnings:
1. Even the author doesn't know when this story will be finished. I'm also pretty laid-back and lazy, so I suggest you bookmark it and let chapters build up before reading.
2. There are lots of original elements, so fans of the original work may want to steer clear.
3. My writing is limited, so please go easy on me.
4. The heroine has “problems” and can't get past something in her heart. (The details matter, the details.)
5. I think the early chapters are pretty “slow,” and there are some depressing scenes that might seem to come out of nowhere. (There will definitely be sweet and heartwarming parts later. I'll do my best.)
6. This is an inspirational story about a young woman's inner transformation and growth (probably). So if you don't read with your heart and just try to memorize things with your head, it may seem to lack direction.
7. Writing an original story is full of difficulties. I'm a newbie, so please be patient with me.
