Xiao Jiu, a dragonling, talks to himself in this lighthearted story.
Xiao Jiu Chiwei Jun is a half-baked dragon who hasn’t transformed yet. His father was a womanizer, leaving him with eight older brothers. Third Brother is both powerful and flamboyant, and raised Xiao Jiu. Seventh Brother is clever and sharp-tongued, and is always picking on him.
The family has nine dragons, each with a different personality, but Xiao Jiu is the one who has it worst.
One day, the Divine Dragon Edict arrives in the Kingdom of Nanzhao. Xiao Jiu accepts it, becomes a disciple of Taiqing Yuanzun, and prepares to head to Nanzhao to make his mark.
He never expected the tangled past, the bloody battles between dragons, and the shadows over Nanzhao to plunge everything into chaos.
I only wanted to become a dragon as soon as possible. How did I end up turning heaven and earth upside down?
Third Brother! You’re a heartbreaker! Come save Xiao Jiu!
Seventh Brother! Stop sulking!
Beichen, where are you?
Taiqing... Master...
Please note:
1. Told from the perspective of a carefree, scatterbrained bottom. The story is lighthearted throughout.
2. The supporting characters all have their own stories. The main romance, between the Ninth Young Master and Taiqing Yuanzun, is a slow burn.
3. Xiao Jiu grew up without parents, but he has a good heart, which makes him easy for others to exploit.
4. The dragon clan was greatly weakened after the Battle of Chiyou.
Dragons are auspicious creatures, believed to protect a nation’s prosperity for generations.
Since its founding, the Kingdom of Nanzhao has had every ruler worship a divine dragon at their side. They appointed Dragon Envoys and established the Dragon Bureau, praying for a divine dragon to descend and protect Nanzhao, bringing peace and prosperity to the land.
At the time, Chiwei Jun, the ninth son of the dragon, stood atop the ridge of the Taihe Hall, swallowing foul and filthy airs, rising steadily toward success as he looked down upon the human world.
To understand Taiqing Yuanzun, we must go back to ancient times.
Back then, heaven and earth were one great chaos: emptiness had yet to divide, and clear and turbid had yet to separate. A ray of primordial light suddenly appeared, and later became the Great Void. The power of the Great Void gathered into a form: Taiqing. The title Taiqing was later bestowed with an honorific, becoming Yuanshi Tianzun, the ancestor of heaven and earth.
Put simply: Taiqing has no beginning or end, no birth or death, no boundaries or limits, no teacher and no superior.
He’s not here to be my master. He’s old enough to be my ancestor!
Theme: For generations, the people of Nanzhao have sought the descent of a divine dragon.
This is the most badass Jiuzi I have ever seen in this article.
Are Zhiyou and Chi You the same person? (≧∪≦*)ノ
According to the claw, Xiaojiu's writing is very interesting, and the style is interesting and relaxed. However, when I read the first few chapters, I felt that the timeline was a bit confusing, but it may be to introduce the background and settings. Overall, it is still very good, but maybe Jinjiang is an old subject and it is difficult to write well. Come on Xiaojiu!
Not enough(??Д`)
Come on, the writing is great. When will the next chapter be released?
You should work hard if you sign a contract. The writing is good. Many people will read it one day.
Come on, big daddy, I'm here, Qianke Sao, your writing style is very good, I like it very much ~ Come on, come on~
Wow, there are very few first-person articles like this, but DaDa handles it very well, especially character description. I am learning from it hahahaha. I have already signed a contract with DaDa and keep working hard!
I love your description too!
I would like to give you a small suggestion. The description of the appearance of the characters can be more detailed, and it is best to write down their respective characteristics. (Actually, it's already written in great detail, haha)
