A Bungo Stray Dogs ship-focused derivative work: Edgar Allan Poe x Nakajima Atsushi.
A story about Atsushi traveling through the worlds of Edgar Allan Poe's novels.
Atsushi opened his eyes. Before him stretched an endless black void.
Why... was he here?
"Since you've made up your mind, then..." A cold, mechanical voice echoed through the space, though it seemed to carry a sigh. "Good luck."
"Now, welcome to the first world."
"Go save your beloved."
"Wait!" Atsushi felt the space before him shift, followed by an immense, irresistible pull. Struggling against it, he shouted out his questions. "What do you mean, 'the first world'?! And who is 'my beloved'?"
Atsushi's mind was blank. He had no memories of himself or of that "beloved."
Somehow, he remembered only that he had come here to save someone.
No one answered his questions before he was completely swallowed by the vortex of time and space.
Dark clouds hung low, casting a heavy shadow over the land.
An ancient mansion appeared in the distance, within Atsushi's view.
First world: The Fall of the House of Usher
*The original work's style is stunning. Please forgive my limited writing and understanding.
*Warning: I only borrow the setting; the story has been substantially changed.
*The original is truly stunning. I recommend everyone read it!
*Update schedule is irregular.
Theme: Saving your beloved.
Good or bad CP, take another look
It feels a little fast paced, but overall it's pretty cool! There are really too few articles written about Poe (sigh). Will you write about the tell-tale heart? Poe's poems are also very charming. Is it possible to write about the world of poetry in addition to novels?

The author's wife writes well.
