Carve magnolia into rafters, and adorn the beams with patterned apricot wood. Set out a dense array of pillars, standing in support of the paulownia columns. Fit the brackets of precious wood together, their uneven ends resting against the beams. Let the shapes seem almost lifelike, like piled stones arranged in orderly rows. Five colors shimmer and reflect one another, gleaming brilliantly with light. Lay patterned tiles of interlocking stone, like the markings on a tortoiseshell. Hang curtains of fine silk gauze, with linked cords of purple silk trailing down.
Another big pit!
