One day, after dealing with the cultivators spying on the ancestor, Li Yuchen turned around, covered in blood and as merciless as an asura, only to see a soft, adorable little bundle running toward him.

He quickly cast a cleansing spell. Once again, he was the otherworldly immortal, the ice in his eyes melting as he leaned down and gently caught Yun Xin, who climbed onto him in a few quick moves.

“Chenchen, Yanyan made me go blow fire again. I'm so tired.”

“Mm. I'll beat him up for you.”

Later, the toddler everyone thought couldn't take care of herself picked up a rampaging six-foot demon beast with her bare hands and tossed it in circles overhead. Her clear, bright laughter rang out now and then. “This is so much fun! I like it!”

Everyone looked at the exhausted demon beast and realized things weren't quite going as expected.

When his gaze lands on the gemstone in Fang Ge's hand, his expression turns completely cold, and the two get into a fight.

Fang Ge realizes he's crossed a line, so he leaves and keeps his distance. But then the other dragon starts following him?

In a dim alley, Fang Ge is pinned against a wall, his hands and legs restrained. “Huo Ge, what are you doing? Let go!”

“No.” Huo Ge pulls him even closer. If he lets him go, he'll go find someone else.

Later, Fang Ge realizes Huo Ge is acting very strangely, almost like he's two different dragons.

When a little demon bullies him, Huo Ge cripples one of the demon's hands.

When a taotie swallows him, Huo Ge cripples one of his own hands.
