I Became Empress After Being Kidnapped

Yu Yao is the eldest princess of her kingdom. During a war, she is captured by the enemy commander.

She had already resigned herself to lying flat and waiting to die, but then she realizes something isn't right.

Not only is she not locked up, she's being treated to the finest food and drink.

Sweet words and lavish gifts aren't frightening. The most frightening thing is that the enemy emperor wants to marry her.

How bizarre! Pigs are flying!

When Yu Yao meets the enemy emperor who wants to marry her, her eyes nearly pop out of her head. The emperor is the very bastard who captured her!

Gu Yuanxiao: "I want to marry you."

Yu Yao: "Ha! I'd marry a pig or a dog before I'd marry a bastard!"

Gu Yuanxiao: "Woof!"

Only later does she realize that the only person who's ever been good to her is Gu Yuanxiao. He was the one who rescued her from a life of misery.

Yu Yao: "Gu Yuanxiao, will you marry me?"

Gu Yuanxiao reaches out to her, his eyes full of affection. "I've been waiting for you all along."

A shameless puppy of an emperor vs. a drama-queen princess

I recommend my currently updating novel, "The Substitute Bride"
