Ever since Dou Wan transmigrated into a fairy-tale world, she'd been raised as a pampered princess. She thought she'd live happily ever after with a prince, but things didn't go as planned.
She was just too delicate, and too afraid of pain!
One pea beneath dozens of layers of eiderdown, and she still woke up with a sore back.
Unable to take it anymore, she secretly made a wish to the magic lamp: Send me to a world where I won't feel pain.
Then she became the cannon-fodder female supporting character in a period novel, and threw herself into a river after her fiance broke off their engagement.
Her younger cousin was the heroine, blessed with a halo of good fortune. Her second uncle and aunt were experts at getting rich through farming, and had even given Grandma and Grandpa the Dou family's only grandson.
As for Dou Wan's branch of the family, they gave the others all the good food and useful things.
By the end of the novel, her family had become mere foils for the second branch, and their lives had turned utterly miserable.
But Dou Wan, with a face even fairer and more beautiful than the original owner's, and a body hundreds of times more delicate, neither panicked nor got angry.
She'd just finished figuring out how to improve her life when someone began spreading rumors everywhere: Dou Wan was a loose woman, a little vixen, and so on.
The next day, the rumor-monger was caught fooling around with a local rogue in a haystack. From then on, loose woman and vixen became the rumor-monger's own labels.
No one knew that the Pea Princess had brought a fairy-tale book with her.
She went to the county town to break off her engagement, but her clothes were too shabby to look respectable.
She tore out the second page of Cinderella, and a magical gown appeared.
Someone spread malicious rumors and plotted to harm her.
She tore out the first page of The Sandman, and Ole rescued her.
The fairy-tale book was magical, but it couldn't change her ridiculously extreme fear of pain.
By chance, she discovered that the pain eased whenever she was near Niu Hongguo.
Dou Wan beckoned with a finger: "Brother Niu, come here."
Niu Hongguo pinned her against the wall: "Who else have you let get close to you besides me?"
Dou Wan played innocent: "Be gentle. I'm afraid it'll hurt."
A sweet, delicate beauty who's ruthless at heart x a "simple, honest" and strapping Brother Niu
Theme: Make the most of life's little pleasures
I'm a little confused. Could the magic dress in the fairy tale book really be worn out in that era?
The heroine is so sexy, she's like a brother, and she's still cooing, but it's a pity that it's useless and she's still being bullied
Ahhhh! Why hasn't the author updated it yet?
Come on, you can open a new post first.
Damn, keep writing. I beg for peace.
I read the copy and wanted to get into the trap, but found out that there has been no update for more than a week?! So you gave up the trap?! Do I still watch it?!
I keep tearing the book apart. When are you done? If you keep relying on magic, your life will be so long. A book can only have a few hundred pages at most, and some of the stories don't involve magic. If you add one page a day, there are still many years before economic development, so it's simply not enough.
I haven't read it yet, but my wife's last book was very good. She should be more confident in herself. Touch it.
After being forced to cancel the engagement, she still begged for help! So useless
Wow, wow, so thin. Come on, come on.
