[Entertainment Industry] Selling Fanservice for Fame

Lu Yan probably has the constitution of a jinx.

After he debuted, every production he appeared in fell apart: investors pulled out, the director was arrested for drug use,

and the lead actor was convicted of a crime and blacklisted.

Every single one was scrapped, without even a single preview clip airing.

A fortune-teller told him, "Your career will be unlucky for the next two years. After that, if you can make it through, you'll be fine. If not, find another line of work."

And just like that, two years went by.

"Bromance dramas are easy to make a hit."

An obscure young actor, Lu Yan, dreams of becoming an overnight sensation by selling his on-screen chemistry. He runs into Lin Miao, a fan-site photographer who dreams of making big money as a superfan.

The fan-site photographer teaches you, step by step, how to sell a ship.

Lin Miao, who's gotten deep into the lives of young entertainers, tells you: "Don't feel sorry for any obscure-looking celebrity."

They have it much better than you!

Save your sympathy for yourselves!!!

They drive cars you can't afford and date people you couldn't imagine, like a fan-site photographer.

Stop feeling sorry for your idol already!!!

But plans never keep up with reality. This time, the young star may flop again.

Lin Miao: "There's real kindness and true love in this world."

"You may not be famous, but you have me."

Every entertainer in this story is a nobody, without exception.
