(Hunter X Hunter) Do Not Eat Today's Menu!

A Hunter x Hunter derivative! (I'm currently catching up on the old version, so the story will probably focus on that version.)

My life is awful. My whole family was wiped out when I was ten. After that, I was forced to work for the boss lady of a shady steamed-bun shop, and later I was forced to take the Hunter Exam. I haven't had a good night's sleep since.

I don't think this kind of life suits a delicate little flower like me. I hope my brother has enough sense to start making money, get rich, marry a beautiful wife, and have children to carry on our family line and restore its glory (not really).

What, you want to know why? Carrying on the family line is obviously a man's job. Women are supposed to be beautiful and know how to fight!

[Please note:]

1. The female lead is Kurapika's younger sister, one year younger than him. She's great at fighting but not very bright.

I don't know why I like writing stories about little sisters either! (It's not incest.)

I'll try to make this a redemption story. I want to give Kurapika a happy ending. He's such a good kid, so stop thinking about how he wants to die all the time...

I hope Luna can give him a little hope as his younger sister.

2. There will be other original characters besides Luna, and they're all here to save Kurapika!

3. What even is a romance plot? Is it tasty?

4. I'll update if anyone reads it, but I'm a notorious ditcher. Updates will be slow, mixed in with updates for my other little-sister story. (Here I am, the queen of unfinished projects again.)

5. I'm too dumb to come up with the little sister's abilities, so I'm borrowing the Colonel's setup (meaning the Colonel from Fullmetal Alchemist).

But this Colonel is good at hand-to-hand combat.

Useless in the rain: check.

Useless in water: check.
