Napoleon I,
Emperor of the French, King of Italy, Protector of the Confederation of the Rhine, and Mediator of the Swiss Confederation. The French Empire he founded held sway over almost all of Europe. He was one of the best-known and most accomplished military commanders in history.
It would be great to become him, or even his wife, Josephine de Beauharnais.
With this in mind, Ye Qing signed up for a historical beta-testing project, only to find herself in an entirely new version of history.
She didn't become Napoleon himself, nor his wife. Ye Qing became Napoleon's mother.
"It's all right," Ye Qing reassured herself. "It wouldn't be bad to raise a Napoleon who never suffers a crushing defeat at Waterloo."
