Wild Bones

A bullied-from-childhood-to-adulthood, arrogant and unruly, incorrigible cultivator with a crippled spiritual root x the cultivation world's aloof flower, the strongest fighter, an immortal lord

1.

You Nian: You is his surname, Nian his given name.

Among the countless creatures of the Divine Journey Continent, he is an utterly insignificant little failure.

He's useless at everything and a champion at causing trouble. Eventually, he finally pulls off something big and nearly gets executed on the spot.

Luckily, he's clever: he jumps off a cliff of his own accord.

Years later, the immortal lord, who used to go into seclusion for a century at a time, stops keeping to himself and starts following someone around every day... just to get yelled at.

"Look at you. Why would an immortal lord like you stop acting like one and follow a little street thug like me around?"

"Don't get cocky. They couldn't bully me even if you weren't here."

"When you're not around, they're afraid of me, but they also think it's humiliating to be afraid of a thug with a crippled spiritual root. Now that you've shown up, they're perfectly happy to be afraid of me. They say there's nothing shameful about being afraid of an immortal lord. So could you please get out of my world already?"

The cultivation world's biggest daily gossip: Did the immortal lord get yelled at again today?
