[Bungo Stray Dogs] The Far Traveler

Highlight: Dazai-centric, pairing undecided, very possibly no pairing. There will be an if-route extra.

Includes fanon and elements inspired by real-life literary figures. I'll do my best to keep the characters in character!

Blurb One

A distant bell rings. I leap from a tall building and bid farewell to fate;

Curled up in your arms, is that the patter of rain, or tears blurring my vision?

Someone plants the seeds of evil, yet hopes to see flowers bloom;

Deep in the forest, Snow White is finally awakened.

"Oh my, oh my, what a violent way to wake Snow White, Chuuya, "

In those brown eyes is the confidence of someone who has everything under control;

So who was it that kissed the princess?

Blurb Two

I once witnessed your death, and now I witness your rebirth;

Good and evil are separated by a single thought, and light is born alongside darkness;

I can't forget the nameless gravestone by the sea, the white flowers in the bar, the gentle breeze blowing past.

"You have such gentle eyes, Dazai."

You've seen too much and always want to escape, curling up inside your own snail shell;

Silence was the night and the morning star that day.

I came from the East, and walked toward the dawn.

"You idiot." He lowered his head and pulled off the bandages

"You were the one who left me behind."

Children always grow up, Oda. You don't need to worry so much.

Against the wind, his coat flutters. The colorful morning clouds are a symbol of new life.

"My name is Dazai, Osamu Dazai, "

·

I once thought of ending it all. Fortunately, this world treated me kindly,

And let this coward, who was afraid even the touch of cotton might hurt him, set off for distant places.

"My name is Dazai, Osamu Dazai."

"Every day, I want to commit suicide in a clean, refreshing way."

"Maybe by hanging from a tree, teasing some soft-bodied creature in a dungeon, or mixing several medicines and drinking them down."

So, beautiful person, would you die together with me?

And set off together toward an unknown story.
