The Sweetheart Candy ship is the first one featured in a video counting down the ten most dramatic ships of the year on a certain site.
The ship got off to a spectacular start
Su Yutang, the heiress to a top-tier wealthy family, spent a million yuan for the chance to have dinner with Jian Xingchen, the leader of the top-tier boy band PEAK, only to be rejected without a shred of mercy.
Shippers: #Sweetheart Candy is a sure bet, the domineering heiress falls for me#
The story reached its climax
On debut night, amid dazzling lights, applause and cheers, mentor Jian Xingchen placed the center-position crown on Su Yutang's head.
Shippers: #Crowned by love, Sweetheart Candy is the sweetest ship in the world#
#Sweetheart Candy is also known as the top-tier star squared#
But the truth was
Cold, heavy raindrops blurred across the hallway. Su Yutang confessed her feelings, each word deliberate, only for Jian Xingchen to turn and walk away without looking back.
If she couldn't win over a top-tier star, Su Yutang would become one herself.

Later, in a candid video leaked by paparazzi
Jian Xingchen held a magical-girl-style light stick as the concert director respectfully escorted him onstage for a photo. The normally aloof man was uncharacteristically approachable.
But Su Yutang looked down at him and said scornfully:
"Stay away from me. I don't want to be accused of privately contacting you."
Shippers: #It's not over, the groveling redemption arc is here!##How amusing, it's just a little game between lovers##We chose this ship, so we'll keep shipping it even on our knees#
