"What do you even like about him?!" Tornado stared at the girl standing between her and the other heroes, utterly baffled and exasperated.
"I don't like him because of anything in particular. I like him because he's him. Garou, I like you! You're worthy of being liked and loved, too!"
The girl's voice seemed to pierce through time and space, ringing softly in Garou's ears.
The lifeless look in his eyes slowly brightened, and he fell into the girl's gentle embrace.
