Every Day, I Stop the Villain from Turning Evil

Jiang Yu is suddenly hit by a system and told that she has been living inside a book.

She's the legendary school beauty who only appears in the mouths of cannon fodder characters to belittle the heroine, and never appears onstage even once. Jiang Yu interprets this as meaning she's an extra of the highest caliber. orz

Ten years later, the villainous male supporting character becomes so corrupted that, instead of being defeated by the male and female leads, he destroys the world. Now her mission is to become various little animals every night and bring warmth to the still-weak male supporting character, so he won't become too corrupted.

Fu Xiao has recently noticed that something is very wrong.

First, the weasel in the mountain brings a dazed, plump chicken to him while he's starving.

Then, the big yellow dog at home always watches him go to school with a kind, benevolent look.

And then the goldfish he keeps blows heart-shaped bubbles at him every day...

Fu Xiao walks up to the fish tank and pretends he's going to smash it.

System: "Aah! The male supporting character is starting to become corrupted! Quick! Get in there!"

Jiang Yu looks at the male supporting character in front of her, scowling as he prepares to smash the tank. She props herself against the glass with her fins, strikes a pose, gazes deeply into his eyes, then puckers up and blows a heart-shaped bubble.

"Baby, aren't I handsome? Come on, stop becoming corrupted. I love you. Mwah~"

Fu Xiao: "...Sausage lips, dead-fish eyes."

Jiang Yu: "..."

Badly hurt, Jiang Yu turns away and swims off sadly. "Go ahead and become corrupted. I want to destroy this screwed-up world too."

System: "Hang in there, girl! The male supporting character smiled!"
