Desperate to get close to a handsome guy as quickly as possible, Ye Xiyin decides to go all in.
"You really don't remember me? I joined the sci-fi club in my first year of college, and I even confessed to you!"
Jin Yuchen looks doubtful. "Really? I don't remember."
"Oh my god, I'm shattered."
She acts it out while sneaking a glance at his expression. He furrows his brows, seeming to show a trace of... guilt?
"You must have had so many girls confess to you that you couldn't remember me. It's okay, really." She's almost convinced herself.
"If it's okay, then you won't mind if I don't come on your podcast, right?" Jin Yuchen raises an eyebrow.
Oh no, he's so heartless.

The tarot cards predict that at least two old flames will return in the first half of the year. Ye Xiyin is stunned. "Seriously? I don't believe it. Am I some delicious leftover that everyone wants a bite of?"
Then the very next day, she livestreams the surprising news that her first love has asked to meet, right in the middle of her casual-chat podcast.
Jin Yuchen usually only listens to podcasts about politics, history, and geography. He has already skipped past this episode, but thinks better of it and goes back to listen. The show notes clearly say that at 25:20, she'll tell the story of dreaming in college that she confessed to her crush, then waking up and smoothly asking a guy in her year out instead.
Did she really dream it? Jin Yuchen's eyelid twitches.

"There are so many wondrous sights and grand, romantic stories on the planets you write about, but I still think Earth is the most beautiful of all."
"Why's that?"
"Because on this planet, you and I are the most special."
He laughs. "Nice lyric reference, but don't even think about it. A bet's a bet, so you're still doing the dishes."
Later, he creates the most special planet for her in his novel.
"How about calling it Xiyin Planet?"
"Your readers will think you're making a really lame pinyin pun."
"That's fine. It's your planet, so you can do whatever you want with it."
"Then I want it to be called Queen Planet."
"As you command, Queen Xiyin."
