The System Chose Me to Be a Merchant

My upcoming novel, The Empress Knows My Heart, is open for follows. Once I finish this one, I'll write a palace-intrigue story again~ Blurb: Lin Lang receives a game invitation from a stranger, asking her to take part in a little simulation game about running a business. Lin Lang casually taps confirm. Lin Lang: "I'm in! You said this was a mobile game. So why have I actually transmigrated to another world?!" Wait, why does that rare and precious energy stone look so much like clear quartz? Thinking of the huge pile of clear quartz she keeps in her jewelry box for cleansing her other jewelry, Lin Lang falls deep in thought. Being a shady merchant in this game... seems like it might actually be pretty easy! Upcoming novel: The Empress Knows My Heart Blurb: On the night of her first time in the emperor's bed, as His Majesty's pale face draws closer, Yu Zhixin unexpectedly hears his thoughts. "Consort De has been mad for so long and still hasn't died. She's persistent, I'll give her that. I suppose I'll have to get someone to help her along. Consort Rong is clever. She actually found and destroyed the evidence I planted to frame her in advance. The Empress seems to have started suspecting the cause of her illness too. She hasn't taken her medicine for two days straight. What am I going to do?" His gaze tenderly falls on the beauty in the bedchamber. He reaches out and brushes her cheek, while his cold voice echoes in Yu Zhixin's ears. "This new girl seems decent enough. I wonder what tricks she has up her sleeve, and whether she'll be useful as my pawn." Yu Zhixin lowers her head timidly, a blush spreading from the tips of her ears down to her neck. She obediently sinks into His Majesty's arms. It looks like life in this harem is going to be quite lively. The emperor, who appears timid and useless but is actually a palace-intrigue mastermind, x the consort, who appears delicate and innocent but is actually ruthless and unscrupulous. Theme: Communication and cooperation lead to shared progress.
