Serving Men with Beauty

People say that, back when Helan Duo was still Prince Shou, he coveted his younger brother Prince Lu's wife's beauty and forcibly took her for himself, leaving a stain on the life of an otherwise wise ruler. Years later, Helan Duo spoke of it himself, smiling as he said, “Yaoyao has a healthy appetite. I alone, in all the world, can satisfy her.” When Ning Yao heard about it, she asked Helan Duo, touched, “Do you like me because I'm beautiful?” Helan Duo replied with deep affection, “Because you enjoy your food so much. Watching you eat with such relish gives me an appetite too.” * Helan Duo used to be passionately devoted to raising birds. He could take even the scrawniest little bird and raise it into a plump puffball. Later, a scrawny Ning Yao came to the prince's residence, and Helan Duo switched to raising her instead. He fattened scrawny Ning Yao up until she was rosy-cheeked and round-faced. Helan Duo: “Mm! What a sense of accomplishment! Every bit of fat on my wife's face is the fruit of my hard work!” * Ning Yao in other people's eyes: A seductive temptress with a face that brings disaster. How long can a woman who relies on her looks to please a man expect to last? Beauty fades, and so does love! Ning Yao herself: Relying on my looks gets me everything... including all the delicious food I could want (whisper). 1. A fluffy sweet romance. 2. A food-loving younger sister-in-law escapes her manipulative, trashy ex-husband and runs into the arms of her brother-in-law. Theme: Love is encouragement
