My Husband Is a Bit Dim, but Has Plenty of Silver

The two daughters of the Yao family are engaged. Mingzhen, the eldest branch's daughter, is engaged to the young master of Chen, the richest man in the village. Mingzhu, from the second branch, is engaged to Meng, the poorest scholar in the village. What Mingzhen doesn't know is that in her previous life, she married Meng. Her husband later placed first in the imperial exams, and she became the scholar's wife everyone envied. Reborn Mingzhu secretly congratulates herself. This time, she's stolen her cousin's marriage. As long as she can get through the next few years, she'll be able to follow her husband to the capital and enjoy a life of luxury. But she never imagined that before she could become the scholar's wife, Yao Mingzhen, who was supposed to be widowed, would instead become the lofty Marchioness. 1. Set in a fictional dynasty. 2. One-on-one romance. No one except the female rival remembers their past life. Please add my new story to your wishlist: *The Princess Returns to the Palace* Rong Xi, the third princess born to the empress, leaves the palace with the empress dowager at age five to pray at a temple. Ten years later, she is finally welcomed back to the palace. By then, her full brother has killed himself in the Eastern Palace after being suspected of plotting a rebellion. He leaves behind a young child who cannot speak. The noble consort who competed with the empress for the emperor's favor has since become empress, and now runs the entire imperial harem. None of the many princes and princesses in the palace takes any notice of the third princess. They assume she'll keep her head down, behave herself, and live in a cold palace until the time comes to send her to the frontier to marry for political reasons. No one expects the third princess, raised among mountain temples, to be so elegant and magnificent that she outshines everyone. Worse yet, she is spoiled and arrogant, never hiding her sharp edges, and steals the spotlight from everyone in the palace. Even more infuriating, she charms a whole host of noble young men in the capital. Even the Prince of Pingyang, whose family has guarded Great Qi for generations, falls at her feet. Theme: Even when you're in a difficult situation, strive to make your life better.
