Anastasia and the Demon King (Western Fantasy)

One day, the ancient Demon King sent a giant bat familiar to the snowbound Kingdom of Xuebi with a letter. It read: The appointed day has come. Hand over the princess to me, or flames will consume your kingdom.

Terrified of the Demon King's power (though mostly because the bat was so frightening), the people had no choice but to give up the princess. Their brave, battle-hardened prince was away fighting and couldn't return home.

Just then, the princess's maid (the female lead) decided to sacrifice herself and take the princess's place as the Demon King's offering.

And then she was exposed just three minutes after they met (.)

A short story for recovery. About 200,000 words. A fairy-tale style.

It's packed with all kinds of jokes. Don't take the entertainment value seriously.

A rapid-fire update for recovery (and a chance to sort out how to write my other story).

The heroine's name is a reference to The Princess and the Pauper.
