Mu Mu is an utterly ordinary, dark-skinned girl in the science-track sports class, tanned from athletic training. She's lively and mischievous, never skips class, and loves basketball.
Lin Juan is the top student in the humanities class next door. She has long, flowing hair that reaches her waist, likes wearing dresses, and has unknown hobbies.
The two girls attend the same high school, but have never crossed paths. They're in different classes, on different floors, and don't even know the other exists. Then one ordinary afternoon, they meet. In the brief moment they pass each other, a tiny seed is planted in Mu Mu's heart.
The first semester of their second year of high school begins, and so does their story.
