Zhou You is a kite with a broken string.
Si Yi is the one holding tight to the string.

Zhou You had been secretly in love with Si Yi for ten years.
From the age of eighteen to twenty-eight, he had kept that person hidden in his heart.
But he did nothing, and he didn't want to do anything.
If it was destined to end without ever beginning, then better not to start.
Until one southern summer night, a little past three in the morning, when Zhou You woke up from the heat and lay bare-chested in bed, silently peeking at Si Yi's Qzone, letting sweat trickle over his collarbones and chest before vanishing along the beautiful V-line of his hips.
Then his lousy phone froze, and his frantic tapping even accidentally placed a video call to Si Yi.
When the phone restarted and he opened it again, he saw the record showing that the other person had answered the video call.
Zhou You: "..."
It was hard to imagine what the hell Si Yi had seen at the time.

Back in their student days, Si Yi's impression of Zhou You was: that guy was like a kite with a broken string, suspended in midair, not knowing where he was drifting, and not caring where he was drifting to.
That evening, as Si Yi watched the person at the end of the corridor, his innate urge to capture was stirred. He wanted to grab hold of the kite's broken string.
Years later, in the dead of night, for reasons unknown, the "kite" suddenly video-called him.
That urge to capture him, the one that made Si Yi's teeth itch, took over his entire heart in that brief instant. It came on like a storm, unstoppable.
Reading notes:
1. First, a heads-up: the gong dated an ex for two years, but their feelings weren't deep, and he never really took the relationship to heart.
2. The gong has a sex addiction.
3. A secret love that comes true, realistic fiction. The gong is very possessive, especially after he truly starts caring about someone, when he becomes even more extreme. He and the shou are mutually devoted, one willing to strike and the other willing to take it.
4. @Niang Chunshui
5. The original title was "Broken Doll," but it was something I came up with in a burst of inspiration years ago, and I couldn't think of anything for the new title despite trying for ages. So, I'm sorry to everyone who bookmarked it because of the original title.
After careful consideration, I've decided to change the premise and revise the story. Feel free to bookmark or not [bows to the ground]
Theme: Dedicated to everyone who doesn't dare confess their secret love.
