There are still several days until the start of the month, when food rations are handed out. Luo Xiao and his bonded beast are already out of food. To avoid starving to death, they decide to take a desperate risk, but accidentally enter an infinite world.
As long as he can eat his fill, Luo Xiao doesn't care which world he's in. He's not that attached to his hometown anyway- wait! Why is this place even poorer than back home?!
Luo Xiao gives up struggling and starts eating dirt. The species in this world are naturally able to eat anything.
After eating an entire mountain bare, Luo Xiao finds a bracelet.
It turns out the bracelet is a sealed space fortress! Seeing the phantom-like spaceships inside, along with a bedroom, a kitchen, and piles of food, Luo Xiao is thrilled. He has to break the seal and get rich overnight!
Luo Xiao embarks on a life of swindling and hard work~
Just as life begins to improve, Yun Tang comes looking for him.
Luo Xiao: I don't understand why he won't let this go. All I did was take some of his stuff and deceive his feelings... I was just trying to survive.
Bonded beast: No matter how good your excuses are, I don't think you'll escape a beating. I can feel it.
