And Seek Her

Synopsis

Yan Siyi had finally reached retirement after years as a burned-out corporate drone in the transmigrate-into-a-book industry, only to be told a few days before her retirement that she had to take a newly assigned rookie under her wing and help her get familiar with the missions.

Yan Siyi: Huh? Is that reasonable? What? They’re paying extra! Well, never mind, then.

So Yan Siyi went off to meet the rookie, leisurely, treating it as a company-paid vacation.

The new recruit, Luo Yishen, was not only easy on the eyes, but also bright and independent when it came to her missions. Yan Siyi was quite pleased with her bargain apprentice and looked forward to returning to the System and enjoying an endless vacation once she had finished training her.

Little did she know that the seemingly harmless beauty was actually a cunning fox who had had her eye on Yan Siyi for a long time.

What she wanted wasn’t a work bonus at all. It was the woman standing right in front of her.

Reader’s Guide: Read Before You Begin

1. The way the title refers to a wife is just a bit of flirtatious fun. It doesn’t determine who’s top or bottom. One-on-one romance.

2. A nontraditional transmigrate-into-a-book story about falling in love for love’s sake, with angst for angst’s sake. They don’t transmigrate into many books.

3. One side couple features self-top and self-bottom elements.

4. There are sweet moments and painful ones. It’s probably a kindergarten-level story with lots of headcanon and plot holes, written in a brainless, amateur style... probably.

5. There may be some old-school melodramatic angst.

Theme: Treasure the person before you. Help yourself before you help others.
