After transmigrating into a demon, Chong Yue has always worked diligently and trained hard, all for the sake of becoming the Demon Sovereign. Since she's transmigrated, she might as well give it her all. When the Demon Realm's princess falls for a prince of the Celestial Clan, and a nine-tailed fox princess gets caught up in their love triangle, Chong Yue thinks her chance has come. Chong Yue secretly celebrates: Haha, you all go ahead and date. Date to your heart's content. I'll keep cultivating. Chong Yue's strategy is to cultivate while everyone else is dating. As long as cultivation doesn't kill her, she'll cultivate herself to death. Just as she's gotten everything ready, that damned nine-tailed fox princess loses her memory and starts clinging to her. Won't that expose her strategy of keeping a low profile? Chong Yue glares at the nine-tailed fox: Go away. Your partner is over there. Meanwhile, the Demon Realm's princess cheerfully pats her on the shoulder: Good job. Keep it up. Once I marry into the Celestial Clan, I'll ask Father to make you the Demon Sovereign. Chong Yue is dumbfounded: What did I even do? Besides, I'll earn the position of Demon Sovereign through my own hard work. I don't need to rely on connections through marriage. The nine-tailed fox also comes over: How about I get my clan to support you becoming the Demon Sovereign? Chong Yue's expression is hard to describe. Everyone knows that Chong Yue, the Demon Lord and second-in-command under the Demon Sovereign, has always coveted the position of Demon Sovereign, though she herself keeps denying it. But when Chong Yue really does become the Demon Sovereign, everyone can only think: Of course she became the Demon Sovereign. Theme: Stay true to yourself, and you will have a future.
