Want to Die for Love? There's Room for One More [Crossover]

If the whole world were a giant game board, then Sakai Bao definitely chose the hell-mode route to victory. It couldn't be helped. He'd been bewitched by a pretty face and fallen for a gloomy guy who thought about killing himself all day. To win the beauty's heart, he studied dating guides day and night, spent a fortune showering him with gifts, and asked him out again and again... Finally, one day, his confession was answered. Dazai: Death is what keeps love fresh. Let's die together. Sakai: ...Better to die beneath a peony than live as a ghost. Let's do it! So the two of them went into the water together. He sank to the bottom, but the other guy floated safely to shore. Sakai: ...This isn't how it was supposed to go! Good thing I can reload my save. Just you wait! Second playthrough: dead. Third playthrough: dead. Fourth playthrough: dead. Nth playthrough Sakai (lighting a cigarette): As expected, dying together is true love. Dazai, are we just going through the motions today, or are we heading straight to our deaths? :) Reader's Notes 1. The pairing is set. 2. This story is also called How I Went Further and Further Down the Road of Tormenting Dazai, Kid, You're Going Down the Wrong Road, and Dazai and I Are Both Hard to Kill. 3. A sweet story with no angst, about two people cheerfully jumping hand in hand into the crematorium. Theme: Live in the face of death.
