Keep Clinging to Her

Ji Huaichuan was once called Mo Huai. Until he was six, he was Mo Ke's biological younger brother. She fed him, played with him, held him when he was sick and hurting, and soothed him to sleep in bed. They were inseparable. Then, on the day he turned six, his biological parents came looking for him. That's when she learned the hospital had mixed up two babies years ago, and her little brother would now belong to someone else. Mo Huai loves his big sister more than anyone. Wherever she goes, he goes too, and sometimes even their parents can't do anything about it. On his sixth birthday, he made a heartfelt wish, but the very next day it was shattered. That was the first time he felt pain so intense he couldn't breathe. It hurt worse than being sick, like drowning. Many years later, Ji Huaichuan holds her close and kisses her senseless. His skin is so pale it looks almost sickly; his bearing is reserved and languidly unruly, and his dark eyes are fathomless. "Do you know what I wished for on my sixth birthday?" Mo Ke's mind goes blank. "No..." Mo Huai's sixth-birthday wish: To be with his big sister forever. But the morning after his birthday, he woke up and was taken away by his biological parents. He never saw the sister he loved most again. "Now, I'm here to make that wish come true." [The synopsis is documented.
