Transmigrated Into an Eighties Brother-Complex Enabler

Also known as The Spineless Boss Reborn in the 1980s

Synopsis:

Scumbags get what they deserve, and spineless cowards get sent straight to hell.

Qu Yu had kept this saying in mind for over twenty years. But one day, he opened his eyes in bed and discovered he'd become the very sort of colossal scumbag he'd despised his whole life: a coward who was meek with outsiders but raised his fists against his wife and children!

Before the original owner's collapse, several members of his family had been pressuring him for money. He'd barely managed a few hesitant words before his two younger brothers cracked him over the head. Now he was covered in blood, and his own parents were calling him heartless.

His wife, thin as a monkey, and their two daughters had also been dragged over to be beaten and scolded. They called the mother and daughters parasites and debt collectors, driving the original owner away from the Qu family.

Qu Yu flipped the table right then and there: Who wants to be this spineless eldest brother? Not me!

You want money?

Qu Yu sneered.

"Your second brother's wife is pregnant and needs to go to the county seat to give birth? The doctor says it's definitely a boy? Even if she's got a hundred boys in her belly, what does that have to do with me, Qu Yu? They're not my kids. Get lost!"

"Third brother wants to build a house? Sure. Your eldest brother may not have much else to offer, but I've got plenty of strength. But even brothers should settle their accounts, right? How much are you paying me?"

"Fourth sister is getting married? Great. The brothers should each contribute their fair share to her dowry. I can't pay for the whole thing by myself. What will her other brothers think?"

Seeing their fearsome eldest brother, the siblings trembled and turned to their parents to plead their case.

Right in front of his parents, Qu Yu snapped a wrist-thick wooden stick in half. Squinting with a smile, he said, "Mom, Dad, your legs aren't strong enough to work in the fields, are they? How about I give you both a massage?"

The elderly couple exchanged a glance and took off running.

"He's gone crazy! Qu Yu's gone crazy!"

Before long, the news that Qu Yu had gone crazy had spread throughout the village.

Qu Yu squinted and smiled. "This is crazy? You haven't seen the really crazy stuff yet!"
