I Wonder Who the River Moon Is Waiting For

Shen Qingxi won the gold medal at an international fashion design competition and returned to China to save her mentor’s haute couture brand from bankruptcy.

After going through countless hardships, she finally secured a chance to promote her designs by dressing an award-winning actress for her first public appearance. In the lounge at the banquet, Shen Qingxi met the actress’s rumored fiancé. To her surprise, it was Jiang Yue Bai, whose feelings she had once deceived.

At a later gathering, Jiang Yue Bai seemed relaxed as he unexpectedly answered a friend’s question: What did he hate most?

He traced the rim of his crystal glass, his gaze settling on the person at the end of the table. His voice was cryptic: “Being deceived.”

Shen Qingxi sat at the end of the table, her eyes lowered and her expression blank from beginning to end.

There was a tattoo on Jiang Yue Bai’s lower back, like a wave or a capital “S.” He and Shen Qingxi had once promised to get tattoos of each other, but they broke up before they could keep that promise.

After they got back together, Jiang Yue Bai discovered a moon tattoo in the same spot on Shen Qingxi’s lower back. She’d gotten it after they broke up.
