A few months later, my roommate died mysteriously, and the rose began appearing at the head of his bed.

After staring for a while, I couldn't help digging up a bit of earth and laying the rose to rest.

Reader's guide:

1. Both leads are strong. Age-gap, with the younger one on top. An older, forgetful wanderer of the world × a ruthless young flower seller.

2. No angst in the present. A little angst in the past.

3. The characters' values don't represent the author's.

4. Mystery, horror, unlimited-flow [probably]. But it won't be especially scary [probably].

5. Not a traditional unlimited-flow story. It has an awful lot of elements.

6. My headcanons are as tall as the Himalayas.

7. There's an ensemble cast. Maybe.
