By chance, Du Ruo takes Bai Wei's place as the personal assistant to Lu Chuan, the star she admires. She decides to spend three months quietly looking after him and fulfilling her little dream. After repeatedly running into Du Ruo reading alone or meeting clients at a cafe, he notices that she resembles Bai Wei. Later, he learns from his grandfather about all the things Du Ruo quietly did for him, and decides to try to get to know her.
Wang Yu believes that Lu Chuan only remembers Du Ruo's good qualities because he needs comfort while he's down, and keeps trying to stop him to protect Du Ruo from getting hurt. The two men engage in a fierce battle behind Du Ruo's back, without her knowing, leading to all sorts of amusing incidents.
