At eighteen, Shi An's life plunged into darkness because of a video of him confessing to Zhou Ye, the school's heartthrob.
His classmates mocked him, saying a toad like him was dreaming of eating swan meat, and that an orphanage kid like him had no right to like Zhou Ye.
But Shi An didn't care. Only he knew that Zhou Ye had been the one to confess first.
They liked each other. It wasn't all in his head.
What Shi An didn't know was that it had all been a cruel prank played by a group of boys.
To keep Zhou Ye out of trouble, Shi An took all the blame upon himself, and ended up expelled.
Just before he left, he ran into Zhou Ye again.
But the boy he'd had a crush on for three years only frowned and said, "I'm sorry. I don't like you. Confessing to you was just a game I played after losing a bet with someone."
Shi An smiled. He thought it was the cruelest joke fate had ever played on him.
Five years later, they met again. Zhou Ye was still the dazzling young heir to a wealthy family.
Shi An was still a poor, down-and-out little nobody.
But no one knew that Zhou Ye had thought about Shi An every moment of those five years.
When Zhou Ye showed up, soaked to the skin, at the door of Shi An's shabby apartment,
Shi An smiled again.
On the first anniversary of their relationship, Zhou Ye carefully prepared a proposal.
But on the day of their anniversary, Shi An disappeared.
He vanished from Zhou Ye's world as if he had never been there at all.
Just as Zhou Ye was searching frantically for Shi An all over the world, that man appeared with his arm linked through Zhou Ye's sworn enemy's, and politely introduced him: "This is my fiance."
The once poor and destitute Shi An had now become the only son of the richest man in A City.
Only then did Zhou Ye realize that everything between him and Shi An had been part of a revenge game.
In the cramped car, Shi An unbuttoned his shirt as he watched Zhou Ye pant softly.
Bending toward him, he asked cruelly, "Zhou Ye, are you a masochist? Does fooling around with a married man really get you that excited?"
Zhou Ye pulled Shi An into his arms and bit his ear as he hissed, "You've got a fiance and you're still trying to seduce me. Shi An, which one of us is the masochist?"
P.S. The fiance is fake.
A melodramatic story written for my own amusement.
