With red-rimmed eyes, Xiang Lu stared at a video from several years ago. How could Qianxi have been treated so unfairly back then? And what had she been doing at the time? The thought made her so angry with herself she nearly pounded her chest. Then a thought suddenly crossed her mind: if she had been by Qianxi's side back then, she would never have let him feel even the slightest bit of hurt.
What? Xiang Lu stared dumbfounded at the child in front of her, then mechanically raised a hand and slapped herself hard across the face. A sharp sting followed. The child looked at her as if she were a weirdo, said nothing, and turned to leave.
"Hey, Qianxi, wait for me!!!"
Your big sister's here. Who dares say my precious boy isn't good-looking? A few years from now, I'll blind you all.
What? You want Qianxi to leave the group?
In a dark corner, the boy buried his face between his knees. His voice choked with tears. "Xiang Lu, I've worked so hard. Why... don't they like me?"
"There'll be more and more fans who love you, just like I do." She held the sorrowful boy close, her heart aching. "Can you trust me?"
Theme: Work hard and strive to be outstanding, just like Qianxi
