Jian Yu, 30, has won every major award in Chinese-language cinema.
Her first-ever TV drama pairs her with Ye Yicheng, a top-tier star five years her junior.
On the first day of filming, a behind-the-scenes photo of them embracing shot to the top of the trending list. In the clip, Ye Yicheng switches from looking deeply affectionate to cold and indifferent the moment the take ends.
The whole internet decides that Ye Yicheng can't stand Jian Yu.
Jian Yu thinks so too and makes sure to keep her distance from him.
Ye Yicheng, 25, is a top-tier star, a king of the music scene, and a newcomer to film and television.
After four years in the business, he finally gets the chance to work with Jian Yu, the star he's had a crush on for ten years.
Unfortunately, whenever he's nervous, he turns extremely cold and distant...
To Ye Yicheng, Jian Yu is his obsession, his dream, his one and only star.
A few notes:
1. The entertainment industry is fictional, with no real-life inspirations. Older woman-younger man romance.
2. Each has only ever loved the other. Beautiful and cool-headed heroine x outwardly cold but tender-hearted hero.
Theme: Never stop pursuing your dreams
