Reader's Guide:
1. Polaris: the North Star, the guiding star.
2. The female lead, Polaris Prewett, is Sirius's cousin in name and Molly Weasley's cousin.
3. The next generation, sunset years (?), I want to give Harry a godmother, so this poor, strong, and brave child can feel more warmth.
4. Sirius won't die (?)
5. Sirius's characterization in this story is based on Sunness's Marauders-era fanfic, "[Harry Potter] The Rebel" (It's so good, go read it!).
6. Follows canon, with as little OOC as possible.
7. Sirius is 25 times brighter than Polaris.
8. It all begins with "Prisoner of Azkaban."
Blurb:
Polaris, the North Star
Sirius, the Dog Star
"If you ever get lost, just look for me. I'll always be waiting here for you."
"Polaris, you are my Polaris."
Harry never dreamed that he would receive a gift from the North Star.
Sirius never dreamed that he would fall in love with the North Star.
The North Star never dreamed that Sirius would betray the parents of her godson.
The moon can grow dim, and stars will eventually fall. The bugs in the dark have no tails, and even a guide can lose their way.
"You said that star could show me the way?"
"..."
"Where is she?"
"She's always there."
"Always?"
"Always."
*Finished in my head. I'll write it after graduation.
Theme: Growth and conflict
It's very well written. I was confused when I first saw Defense Against the Dark Arts Assistant because I didn't like too many secondary settings. But if it is explained that Remus takes over as a teacher when he transforms, I don't think there is a logical problem ~ otherwise it would be really weird to have two teachers in class at the same time. To be honest, I really want to see what gifts Harry receives every year. I feel that the scene where Harry secretly opens the gifts behind the Dursleys' back is particularly original. Finally, update~
The author hasn't updated it yet, I advise you to update it soon, otherwise… I will cry to you!
Leave a claw, oh my god~
