A tribute to Xiang Mei Da!
A derivative work from the Mei Da Yun Dai series, but not fanfiction. It's simply an imperial edict that was alluded to in the original but never actually written out.
I wrote the first draft four years ago, found it this morning, revised it a little, and decided to post it.
For fans of the Imperial Guard. Everyone else can skip it if they like. It's an ancient-style text, and without having read the original, it'll be confusing and hard to understand, which can be frustrating.
As for whether any Imperial Guard fans will find it, we'll see. I write for love, and writing it made me happy.
One more thing: The Imperial Guard really is a masterpiece let down by its title. I skipped over it dozens of times in recommendation lists because of the title, but after clicking on it by chance, it became my all-time favorite.
(Two of the article tags are from the original, and I added the other two. The protagonist and supporting character names are characters from the original who are mentioned in this work, though no names actually appear in the text.)
Theme: An imperial edict of self-reproach
The title of the other label is wrong, it should be "".
Really, I had never read the title "Guardian" before. Knowing that there was a literary shortage, I opened this book, and then I couldn't control it.
As a bodyguard, I am unparalleled in the world. My favorite article I've ever read.
Humble, finally found it
FΣ(° △ °|||)So... So awesome?!!!
Could you please tell me which article "The Guard" is from?
I feel like I'm really reading ancient literature.
