[Western Crossover] God of the East

The Jade Emperor has been feeling a little troubled lately.

After the founding of the country, spirits were no longer supposed to be able to become demons in the mortal world. But recently, all sorts of monsters and demons have inexplicably begun popping up. The Jade Emperor sent Sun Wukong and the others down to get rid of them, but the monkey refused, saying he belonged to the Buddhist school and the Jade Emperor had no authority to command them.

The Jade Emperor was at a loss.

The monsters and demons kept multiplying, and an agreement signed with the human government in the twentieth century meant he couldn’t freely dispatch the Heavenly Soldiers and Generals to the mortal world. This left the several-thousand-year-old Jade Emperor, who still looked as beautiful as a flower... no, as dashing as a young man, and rather short, scratching his head in frustration.

Then one day, when he returned to his bedchamber, he found a mortal from the West wearing strange red-and-gold armor, covered in wounds.

The kindhearted Jade Emperor took him in.

But he never expected that once this mortal had recovered, all he needed was a few materials to become unbelievably powerful.

Watching Iron Man blast the head off a snake demon with one shot, the Jade Emperor smiled with satisfaction.

He never expected the man’s companions to show up one after another, each more powerful than the last.

The Jade Emperor made up his mind. He would form a team of his own and have them build friendly relations with the Avengers.
