My Cat Looks Like You

[Unrequited love comes true] [No angst] [Five-year age gap] [Sweet and well-behaved x gentle] [@Chili from Sichuan]

At sixteen, Jiang Youyu experienced the stirrings of first love and fell for the boy next door.

But before she could confess, she moved to another city.

Her childhood crush never got a sequel, so to commemorate those girlish feelings, she got a cat with the same first and last name as him.

One night, some time later, her cat fell ill.

The doctor who took them in wore a mask that revealed only his beautiful amber eyes. He tapped his pen against the desk and asked gently, "Name?"

She froze for a moment. "Jiang Youyu."

He sighed with amusement. "I meant the cat."

"Oh." Jiang Youyu corrected herself. "Song Xiaohuai."

As soon as she finished speaking, she saw the man lift his eyes. "?"

Jiang Youyu: ...

#What do I do now that he found out I named my cat after my crush?# #This is urgent, waiting for an answer online# #Don't wait, just leave this beautiful planet#

You were the glimmer of light in my youth, and the distant horizon of my future.
