(Sometimes I make mistakes with posting. I haven't published much before, so slip-ups are bound to happen.)

Content warnings:

1. Muzan gets put through the wringer, and he has to die.

2. The protagonist doesn't know Muzan's name for a long time and looks down on his cowardly yet troublemaking nature. So the protagonist calls him "demon thing" and refers to him as "it."

3. The relationship between En and Uta stays intact. Kokushibo does not exist.

4. I've only read the manga and watched the anime, not the official guidebooks, so there may be timeline conflicts.

5. Volume three switches between multiple points of view and is different from the earlier chapters. If you can't accept that, please stop reading after chapter 27.

6. The outline for this work was written before chapter 200. Some details differ from Gotouge's, and by the time Gotouge released the official details, it was too late to change the outline.

The story's current direction is uncertain, with two possibilities:

1. End the story in the Sengoku era, bringing the tragedy to a halt, then transmigrate to the Taisho-era timeline and kill Muzan once more.

(The Muzan-tormenting route.)

2. Change the setting and extend the timeline, allowing Muzan to survive until the Taisho era before he is killed.

(The plot route.)

The current direction, based on the vote, is the Muzan-tormenting route.

Feel free to place your bets on the couples, but the author doesn't think it's very likely.

I just finished reading chapter 200. The only couple I shipped is gone.

The protagonist may be gone, too.

I'm devastated and can't bring myself to write at all.

I'll start padding things out with extras after today's update. I'm waiting for chapter 201 to see whether Gotouge gives me a quick death or stabs me again.
