The Otherworld is full of danger, but it can fulfill the wishes people yearn for in the real world but cannot realize.
Driven by profit, people flock to it, leading to a spate of bizarre deaths in the real world.
Humanity has no choice but to send people with supernatural abilities into the Otherworld to save the innocent.
Xie Weiwei, a minor celebrity, is selected!
She refuses point-blank to risk her life. It's not that the terms aren't generous enough. Her supernatural ability is simply a little too embarrassing to talk about!
If she puts her heart into it, curls her lips into a smile, bats her eyes, or lightly touches someone, they become enchanted by her and may even die.
A personnel officer from the relevant department says, "You know Ren Pingsheng... he's one of us, too. Your ability won't affect him, and he'll teach you how to control it. All you have to do is join us!"
Xie Weiwei furrows her brows. She knows the acclaimed actor Ren Pingsheng, all but flawless in his acting, looks, and background. He's just a little aloof. She once saw him from afar on the red carpet, still wearing that cool, distant expression even as the stars clustered around him. Can someone like that even fight in the Otherworld?
Xie Weiwei thinks it over. "I don't think he can, unless he lets me try him out first!"
Ren Pingsheng, currently fighting so ferociously in the Otherworld that a crowd of NPCs are questioning their very existence: "Who! Who said I can't do it?"
NPCs: "Nobody said you can't! Please, have mercy and stop pretending to be human just to mess with us!"
A "great monster" who desperately wants to die but can't, paired with a "little enchantress" who accidentally bewitches everyone.
Infinite-flow, episodic, not scary
